Apparently, the developers have more serious problems.
When the role-playing action Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2 The Sith Lords was released on the Nintendo Switch in early June 2022, the developers promised to provide it with DLC with cut content. A year later, the DLC still hasn’t come out.
It seems, according to fans, that the add-on was quietly canceled. Players noticed that the mention of DLC was removed from the trailer for the Switch version of KOTOR 2; however, it is still mentioned on the site of the Aspyr studio involved in the project.
The Gamer editors tried to contact Aspyr and clarify the fate of the add-on, but studio representatives did not respond to journalists’ requests. The DLC was originally planned to be released in the second half of 2022.
Perhaps now Aspyr has more serious problems. The studio was working on a full-fledged remake of Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, however, the project was allegedly transferred to another company. The remake itself is still in development, but nothing has been heard about it for a long time.
