Infinity Ward co-founder and Call of Duty creator Chance Glascoe, now creative director of Good Dog Studios, announced that the team will be showing the first trailer for martial arts manager sim Martial Arts Tycoon: Brazil at BIG Festival 2023 this June.
In case you didn’t know, the Brazilian International Games Festival (BIG) is the largest indie game festival in Latin America, making it the perfect place to debut a game. It doesn’t have an exact release date yet; all we really know at the moment is that it will be released sometime in 2024 for PC.
Martial Arts Tycoon: Brazil is a unique simulation game that immerses players in the vibrant world of the Brazilian favelas, where they run a Brazilian jiu-jitsu gym led by a capybara named Rafael. Players will need to tackle real-life issues facing the favela community, including climate and health issues, while expanding their gym and preparing their fighters for competition.
Peculiarities:
Hire and train dynamically developing fighters with different professions, experience and personalities. Watch as your students face bullies, win grappling tournaments, street fights and work their way to becoming world champion. Maintain and manage a fitness center for your fighters. Build and maintain your gym, upgrade equipment and manage your employees. Navigate and address climate and health issues impacting Rio’s favelas and other communities while maintaining local infrastructure and improving the environment. Customize the format and intensity of your classes to try and please casual or hardcore learners. Authentic Rio de Janeiro setting with rich cultural elements and compelling storyline.
