On the night of Sunday, May 28, Kyiv experienced the most massive attack by Shahed-136/131 drones since the start of a full-scale war.
The Kiev State Military Administration announced that more than 40 Iranian drones were destroyed. The attack was carried out in several waves. The occupiers used non-traditional routes to bypass Ukrainian air defense in the south of the country and reach Kyiv. The air raid continued for more than 5 hours.
It is reported that due to the fall of the wreckage of the downed “Shaheds” there are casualties and destruction in different parts of Kyiv.
Meanwhile, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informed that a record number of launches of kamikaze drones was recorded at night – 54. Of these, 52 Shahedas were destroyed.
