After the guitar lessons among the cannibals of Sons of the Forest, it’s time for Endnight studios making the survival horror experience even more ruthless offered by the Early Access version of the sequel to The Forest. Here are all the news of Patch 6 just landed on Steam.
The Sons of the Forest update at the end of May brings many improvements, additions and optimizations, with interventions that mainly concern the survival dynamics and the difficulty level.
The most interesting surprise of Patch 6 is the addition of a hardcore mode designed for fans of survival video games, by activating which it is possible to experience a much more demanding gameplay that forces users to carefully ponder every single move they make. The new hardcore mode definitely makes it better lethal cannibal attacksimpacts health recovery times, and reframes nearly every aspect of survivability.
Among the improvements made by Endnight we also find the introduction of tools and stone structures, a function loudly requested by the community that finally allows us to expand the crafting to make room for many new tools and architectural elements to be built on the island. No less important are the additions represented by the personalized effigies and by the many interventions made by the developers for fix bugs and balance gameplay.
