The game will release for PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series X|S on September 28th. The PC version will be available on both Steam and the Windows Store. This is interesting because the Xbox and Windows Store versions were added to the originally announced platforms at a time when Square Enix was very stingy with support for Microsoft platforms.
Pre-ordering will get Dai’s Dragon Quest III Legendary Hero Outfit and The Hero’s Tutor Bond Memory (which grants bonus XP). A digital deluxe edition is also available, including the following:
Legendary mage – Popp outfit Legendary priest and Legendary martial artist – Maam outfit Legendary swordsman and Legendary warrior – Hyunkel outfits.
The announcement is accompanied by a trailer, which you can watch below, as well as a live stream from Japan during which the release date was announced and a look at the gameplay.
If you’re unfamiliar with Infinity Srash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai, it was originally announced back in 2020 with an initial release date of 2021. Apparently it didn’t come to fruition and Square Enix continued to provide scant information.
