Pixar’s Elementary has made its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.
The action of the plot takes place in a city where all the elements coexist. Bright and hot-tempered, Amber meets the drifting Wade. Contrary to the laws of nature, the heroes fall in love with each other and understand that the elements of water and fire have much more in common than differences.
After the screening, the first reviews became available. The reviews turned out to be mixed: some of the critics praise the project for originality and colorfulness, others blame it for the heaped plot and the lack of depth inherent in the early works of Pixar.
Elementary was directed by Peter Sohn (The Good Dinosaur). International distribution starts in June. Russian viewers will officially not be able to see the cartoon due to the closure of the Disney studio.
