Shenzhen, China-based indie game developer Fabled Game Studio has announced that the turn-based strategy board game Spiritle is coming this summer to PC on Steam and iOS and Android mobile devices.
In Spiritle, play and embody the spirit of one of the four elements: Nature, Earth, Water and Fire, and fight with others to regain your place on the World Tree. After selecting a Spirit, its skills, and equipping a ring, players place their characters and enter the board to reveal tiles and discover new lands.
If a player combines two identical lands, he can attack his rivals, while each Spirit has its own strategy and ability to attack. Choose the right skill set to outsmart your opponents. Spiritle is easy to pick up but hard to master – victory will only come to the most cunning strategist.
Challenge your opponents in a variety of modes including classic combat, competitive matchmaking with leaderboards; seasonal co-op mode for chaotic 2v2 action; and a custom mode for private play with friends.
The World Tree is associated with the seasons, and the season of Earth’s release represents the Tree of Cruelty. With eight Spirit characters to choose from and four fully-featured seasons to battle, as well as the passive abilities of the World Tree each season, protect the playing field and become the best tactical player.
