As social media makes Halloween irrelevant, a ghost sets out to put a stop to those who caused it. So you run and hop through beautifully drawn environments and beat up plenty of opponents with a very simple hit-and-run system until you get caught: money won and most of the materials are retained in the beginner-friendly roguelite, but the upgrade options are similar to the superficial gameplay.
After a few attempts, cultivated boredom sets in rather than long-term motivation. And the scenarios and characters are nice to look at, but even on PS5, constant scrolling stutters and tearing are unpleasantly noticeable.
Approachable, but little varied 2D roguelite action with weak technology.
