Yadro told Rossiyskaya Gazeta that the Kvadra_T tablet is intended for both personal and professional use. The novelty is based on an 8-core Arm-processor with a frequency of up to 2.4 GHz along with 6 GB of DDR4 RAM and a 128 GB eMMC 5.1 flash drive, expandable up to 256 GB with support for microSD memory cards. IPS screen with a diagonal of 10.95 inches has a resolution of Full HD +. The battery capacity is 9000 mAh. The specifications of the device also include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.2, LTE modem, 2 x 1.2W speakers and 3 x noise-canceling microphones, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm combo audio jack.
The tablet is the first device to run Kvadra OS, based on the deeply redesigned Android Open Source Project (AOSP). Google services will not work on the tablet, but it will come with an integrated Russian application store RuStore. For the corporate and public sectors, a version of the tablet running the mobile trusted Aurora OS will be released, which will be available for order until the end of the summer.
The tablet has a laconic design, the body color is Argentum, Graphite and Serenity. For an additional fee, you can get accessories for it: a keyboard, a case, a stylus, including an active one, etc.
“The design of the tablet, like the entire Kvadra brand, is inspired by the work of the Suprematist “Black Square” by Kazimir Malevich. The creation of Kvadra_T was a certain challenge, and we believe that our approach will become a new norm in the development of custom devices in our country,” said Dmitry Cherkasov, CEO of Yadro Client Systems.
The Kvadra_T tablet will be the first representative of the updated Kvadra line, all devices of which from this year will be created taking into account the brand’s unique design code. Also this year it will be replenished with laptops and PCs. The Yadro range also includes the Kvadra A20 all-in-one and the Kvadra D20 mini computer.
Kvadra_T is already available for pre-order at a price of 39,990 rubles.
