Stage Canoeing World Cup took place in Poland.
The Ukrainian team won 11 medals at the CS stage in Poznan – 3 gold, 3 silver and 5 bronze medals.
IN first day competitions in the piggy bank of the blue-yellow team had 4 awards.
Two-time Olympic medalist in 2020 Lyudmila Luzan celebrated the victory in the single canoe at a distance of 200 m, leaving behind two representatives of China at once.
Gold in the 500m was won by a kayak-four consisting of Oleg Kukharik, Dmitry Danilenko, Igor Trunov and Ivan Semikin, leaving behind the crews from Australia and Denmark in the fight for victory.
Alexander Zaitsev finished third in the final at a distance of 200 m in a single kayak. Another bronze in the Ukrainian piggy bank was put by the crew of the canoe-four at 500 m: Vitaly Vergeles, Andriy Rybachok, Vladimir Savchin and Taras Kuzik.
IN final day World Cup Ukrainians won 7 more awards.
To the gold mined the day before at a distance of 200 m canoeist Lyudmila Luzan added a full set of awards in the 500 m, becoming the champion in the singles, the bronze medalist in the doubles with Valeria Tereta and the silver medalist in the mixed doubles with Taras Mishchuk, where they were accompanied on the play by the Ukrainian crew of Valeria Teret and Taras Mazovsky (bronze).
Canoeist Mazovsky also scored a silver finish in the 500m singles. Vitaly Vergeles and Andrey Rybachok took second place in the 500m canoe double, Natalia Dokienko and Alexander Zaitsev took third place in the 500m mixed canoe double.
