In a poll, Capcom asks its fans which Resident Evil part deserves a remake next.
With the remakes of Resident Evil 1-4, Capcom has seen both great financial and critical success. So it only seems logical that they are willing to release more remakes.
But which part of the popular horror series should get a remake next? That’s the question Capcom asked its fans in a poll focused on the series’ Resident Evil Ambassadors program and social media presence.
Since Resident Evil 4 recently received a remake, a remake of Resident Evil 5 appears as the logical next step.
However, many fans also want a new edition of Resident Evil: Code Veronica, which was released in 2000, or a new remake of the first part in the style of the remakes of RE2, 3 and 4.
Other candidates are Resident Evil: Zero, released in 2002, which like the first part is available as a remaster for Xbox One, and Resident Evil 6 from 2012, which was particularly unpopular with fans.
Which Resident Evil offshoot would you like a graphic and gameplay overhaul for?
