With The Surge, its sequel, and the original Lords of the Fallen, Deck13 has developed a number of soul games over the years, but it wants to do something different with the upcoming release. Action RPG Atlas Fallen looked intriguing, thanks to its idiosyncratic setting and the promise of thrilling combat, and the game’s visual aspects also made an impression, judging by what was shown.
But how well will the game work on consoles? In a recent interview in response to this question, Atlas Fallen Creative Director and Deck13 Managing Director Jan Klose confirmed that on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S the game will run at 4K and 30 FPS in Quality Mode and 1440p and 60 FPS in Performance Mode. FPS. Meanwhile, on the Xbox Series S, the game will run at “stable” 1080p and 60 FPS.
Klose also confirmed that Atlas Fallen will support dynamic resolution scaling, which will help “maintain frame rates in data-intensive situations.”
Atlas Fallen releases August 10 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
