Multiplatform game developer and publisher 10tons has announced the highly anticipated console release of Undead Horde 2: Necropolis. In Undead Horde 2, players plunge into the epic role of the Undead King, empowered to raise and command an army of the undead. Before you is a grandiose mission – to resurrect the Necropolis – once a prosperous kingdom of the undead, ravaged by the living. A mobile version of the game is also planned for the end of the year.
In Undead Horde 2, players take on the role of a fearsome Necromancer King. You have the power to raise the dead and command them in battle. Each victory increases the strength of your army, and as you rebuild your city, your strength increases, unlocking new abilities and units.
Sampo Töyssy of 10tons describes the exciting new features in Undead Horde 2: Necropolis:
“We have significantly expanded the player’s options in the game. Now they don’t just lead an undead army; they literally form their kingdom by rebuilding the Necropolis from scratch. This feature adds an exciting layer of strategy and customization that our players will love. Deepening the game even further, players can now choose the type of undead warriors to raise. This is a game changer. Players can decide if they want an army of skeleton archers or lumbering undead giants. Or maybe a balanced power with a mixture of different types of undead. Each choice will have consequences and influence the player’s strategy, offering a unique gameplay experience each time. We can’t wait for our players to dive in and experiment with these exciting new features!”
Undead Horde 2 was created using 10tons Ltd’s proprietary game engine technology. and is primarily intended for PC and current and next generation consoles. Details about mobile versions will be revealed later.
