At Driftwood, you’ll experience downhill longboarding as an aerodynamic sloth. Drifting is the name of the game as it will help you find the perfect balance between speed and control. Drive through sharp turns to avoid cars and obstacles and perform cool stunts while admiring the beautiful scenery around you. These tricks will help you score points which will unlock new boards that can be combined with different wheels for different riding styles.
“We are so excited to release our first game,” says artist Leonard Schölch. “We’ve come a long way since we studied game design together at HTW Berlin. This project is 100% made with love. We hope you enjoy the amazing atmosphere, pull off some cool stunts and just have a great time longboarding as a sloth in Driftwood.”
Peculiarities:
Driftwood lets you enjoy smooth longboarding as Eddie, who will purchase new boards, wheels and clothes to enhance the experience. Race through beautiful landscapes with cheerful melodies in the background. Focus on vibes and stunts – Driftwood has no story campaign or commitment. Immerse yourself in a closed world – Driftwood is not an open world game; it’s a focused, minimalist experience. Solo fun or competition, Driftwood lets you skate on your own, overcome personal challenges and reach new milestones, or compare your runs on local and online leaderboards. Travel the newly opened tracks in your van. Driftwood has several locations where you can skate and drift to your heart’s content.
