How many games will be shown at the Xbox Showcase on June 11th? In a few days, the Xbox community will attend the most important and eagerly awaited videogame event of the year, a real show that, hopefully, will be full of surprises and announcements for all enthusiasts.
The Xbox Games Showcase 2023 World Premiere waltz will officially kick off at 19:00 on Sunday 11 June, immediately before the deepening on Starfield, the new space opera of Bethesda. Based on the estimates on the duration of the Xbox Showcase and Starfield Direct, Microsoft’s double media appointment should keep us company for a good two hours: the first 90 minutes should be dedicated to announcements of the ‘major’ Xbox event, while in the last half an hour we will be able to admire some Starfield gameplay scenes full of details on the combat system, on the exploration of planets and on the role-playing system erected by Bethesda.
What can we expect from the Xbox Games Showcase? After a 2022 stingy to say the least with exclusives, the Xbox community asks the American technological giant to ‘beat one’ and show the most interested projects of the Xbox Game Studioswith a focus on titles destined to arrive in the coming months on PC, Xbox Series X|S and in the Game Pass catalog.
In addition to Starfield, the other great exclusive confirmed for the Xbox Showcase is Forza Motorsport: the Turn10 car simulator ‘will be in the game’ with an in-depth look at graphics, content and gameplay, to which a subsequent one will be added focus on singleplayer campaign which will be broadcast on Tuesday 13 June.
Although it has not yet been made official, Hellblade 2 Senua’s Saga’s participation in the Xbox Showcase is also practically taken for granted after the appearance of theSenua tree on the social profiles of Microsoft executives like Aaron Greenberg.
Xbox Game Pass will also be among the undisputed protagonists of the event: during the showcase, subscribers to the service will (almost) certainly receive advances on the next triple A games from third parties and on independent productions that will soon become part of the subscription: there are those who dream, for example, of discovering the Hollow Knight Silksong launch dateand who would rather attend the premiere of an unpublished game with relative ‘shadow drop’ in stile Hi-Fi Rush.
