Blizzard wants to get as many people as possible involved in Diablo IV, which will make its full debut tomorrow. Some time ago, the developers announced rewards for the first 1,000 players for reaching level 100 in hardcore mode, which provided some incentive to pre-purchase the game. Now Blizzard wants to convince employers to give their employees time off so they have time to take down the demons in Sanctuary.
A special message was posted on the game’s Twitter. Here is its content:
Dear Team Leader,
Your worker is better than you, Better in the slaughterhouse. Better in wrestling.
Give him a day off from his worthless work so he can go and defeat the army of demons, knee-deep in blood.
When he returns to work, respect him for the epitome of the rock he has become. Give him a raise and beg for mercy.
Praise Lilith, the Diablo IV demon team
However, Blizzard notes that this is a diabolical law, not a human one. Therefore, not all employers will be ready to fulfill it.
Although the message was posted solely for the purpose of humor, it must be said that this is a very original element of the Diablo IV marketing campaign. Its meaning is quite clear – according to Blizzard, there is nothing more important than playing the latest “devil” game at the start.
