Developers from Studios Motion Twin and Evil Empire proudly reported that the roguelite platformer Dead Cells, which he created, has already sold over 10 million copies.
Against the backdrop of such a resounding success of their brainchild, the authors hastened to please the public with the fact that they intend to support the project at least until 2025 – there is already a specific plan for content support for the game for the entire designated period.
Since its release in August 2018, Dead Cells has received as many as 34 free updates that have added new weapons, items, entire locations, enemies and guest characters from other games.
Dead Cells is a very vivid example of what modest projects that debut in early access sometimes turn into: the game began its journey that way, reaching a full release only a year later. It is currently available on platforms such as PC (Windows, macOS, Linux), PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, iPadOS, Android, as well as current generation consoles in backwards compatibility mode.
