After the end of the free weekend for MMORPG Embers Adrift, the developers decided to change the business model. From now on, the game is distributed according to the Buy-to-Play model instead of Pay-to-Play, which means that to access the servers it is enough to pay $30 once.
However, the subscription to Embers Adrift is still there, but it is optional. All content is open to all players, but with some limitations such as one character slot, less stash and bank vault space, fewer emotes, and fewer portraits. Subscribers also receive, among other things, a portable crafting bench, a healing bonus from Ember Ring (applies to all nearby allies), unique titles, a chat tag, and a special chat channel.
Embers Adrift is a low fantasy MMORPG with a focus on party content and hardcore gameplay from level one. The game offers adventures in vast territories, 3 roles with 9 specializations, a strategic combat system, realistic mechanics, no mini-map and no question marks above NPC heads. There is also a crafting system with 3 Gatherer professions and 6 Artisan professions.
