Valorant is approaching the new Episode 7 – and then Team Deathmatch will also play an important role. It has now been announced that the classic game mode will also have its own maps.
The end of Episode 6 Act 3 in Valorant is approaching – and with it the new Episode 7 casts its shadow. Riot Games has now announced further details in this regard and confirmed that you can of course also expect a new Sentinel agent in the new episode. In addition, the expected Team Deathmatch mode comes into play – and this seems to be quite extensive.
In a short video shared via the official Valorant Twitter account, the development team confirmed that all agents and weapons will also be accessible in Team Deathmatch. In terms of maps, however, Team Deathmatch will use its own set of new maps.
Riot Games had confirmed the TDM mode for 2023 earlier this year, and now it’s almost time. At the time, it was already promised that Team Deathmatch would be implemented with its own approaches; the new teaser now at least reveals that it will be a fairly fast and brisk gaming experience. Further specific details initially remained open.

Valorant already has a free-for-all deathmatch mode that locks out all agent skills and only allows weapons. In Team Deathmatch, however, this rule is modified so that you can use all agent abilities again.
Some information was also made public beyond Episode 7. According to Anna Donlan, the third agent coming into play this year will be a Duelist. The last Duelist was Neon, coming into the title in January 2022. There is no release date for the brand new Duelist yet. Incidentally, already in Episode 7 there will also be a new progression system that allows you to collect rewards and cosmetic items from previous Battle Passes.
Episode 7 will launch in Valorant on June 27th.
