Stranger Things actress Grace Van Dien was joining FaZe Clan in an effort to “give visibility to women” and former members of the eSports team reportedly harassed her until she was close to tears and left the organization.
Los eSports in PCSteam Deck, PS4, PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch y mobile con Android e iOS has its good and bad side, but actress Grace Van Dien from Stranger Things has been taught the worst on Twitch.
We already knew that the well-known actress had switched to the Amazon platform for her bad experiences in cinema and was being harassed online, something Joseph Quinn called “disgusting.”
But what Van Dien did not expect was to find such an amount of hate in said eSports organization, although from what we read in PC Gamer “FaZe Clan is a disaster” and right now he is at risk because the price of his shares has plummeted from 20 $ in August at 54 cents.
But the bad thing arose when the brand announced that FaZe added actress Grace Van Dien to his staff, presenting her between cotton wool in a video where became FaZe Bluefille in the Clan.
But Van Dien was not welcomed with open arms and was in the middle of a fight for the FaZe’s future where former co-owner Nordan ‘FaZe Rain’ Shat was a key player.
FaZe Rain was fired in 2020, but he continues to fight people in suits and opposes all kinds of brand extensions and celebrity partnerships, which he says includes Van Dien.
For this reason, he made a classic video reacting to the inclusion of Van Dien, mocking her in a cruel way, since according to him the actress lacks the necessary credentials and knowledge to contribute something of value to FaZe.
This was something that neither Eleven nor Max could have foreseen, something beyond Vecna.
But Rain was not alone in that opinion and other members like Adapt, Censor and Banks joined the bandwagon, all along with a legion of fans that followed happily jumping on as well.
Some of his ‘niceness’ pushes the envelope and Rain says Van Dien was “probably playing with Barbies” when he founded FaZe and “making his first million in the industry.”
All this before blurting out that she’s “unbearably medium” and someone he “would never let touch me on my drunkest night.”
Van Dien would respond by hinting that Rain overdosed in reference to his addiction to prescription drugs (“benzos and opiates”) and everything went haywire; but after some tug of war, Van Dien and Rain agreed to meet in person where she admitted to overstepping.
In this video that you see just above, Van Dien questioned many comments he had made and he accused her of being emotional and not being able to accept a joke; although the boy should know that a joke between two people should not be with vexatious comments.
As everything crept into Wednesday, Van Dien called him a “terrible person” and left the room. But worst of all, Rain knows perfectly well what she makes of her and she even accused Van Dien of committing suicide and leaving her mother without her child.
In Dexerto they have taken control of the situation and although they say that there is no clear answer to it, in their networks they confirm that she has eliminated FaZe from her bio and put a lock on her account.
For the moment the actress Grace Van Dien from Stranger Things is part of this famous eSports organization until FaZe or his representative say otherwise.
