Motion Twin has released a whopping 34 free updates to Dead Cells since its launch. If you go by the current words of the makers, it should not have been that for a long time.
Accordingly, one would like to support “Dead Cells” until the year 2025. The “Return to Castlevania” DLC has just proven to be a great success for the Metroidvania.
In Dead Cells, you take control of a failed experiment and try to figure out what’s going on on a sprawling and ever-changing island. Tough but fair combat, responsive controls, challenging enemies, a final death and of course the panic dodge roll to avoid trouble make Dead Cells a challenging and intuitive action-packed game.
“Dead Cells” was released on August 7, 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC. Implementations for iOS and Android followed in 2019 and 2020.
