This week, the US colleagues from GameSpot published a detailed hands-on preview of the upcoming Teyon shooter “RoboCop: Rogue City”. In addition to fresh details, the video also provides us with plenty of gameplay material.
With “RoboCop: Rogue City”, the publisher Nacon and the “Terminator: Resistance” makers from Teyon announced a shooter based on the iconic brand in summer 2021.
As announced in March, Nacon decided to give the Teyon developers a little more development time and postpone the release of “RoboCop: Rogue City” to September of this year.
At the start of the new week, the US colleagues from GameSpot provided a hands-on preview of the shooter, which lasts more than six minutes and gives us a detailed look at “RoboCop: Rogue City”.
You can see not only brand new game scenes and impressions from the game world. The basic gameplay and its features are also discussed in more detail.
The return to Old Detroit
Unsurprisingly, in RoboCop: Rogue City you take control of the legendary part-man, part-machine movie character who first made waves in the 1980s. In Teyon’s latest work, we take the crime-ridden streets of Old Detroit, where we enforce law and order in the role of RoboCop.
Equipped with the Auto-9, factory-made strength, years of police experience and versatile gadgets, the players in “RoboCop: Rogue City” should be given the opportunity to face the missions and tasks that lie ahead in their own unique way to complete.
Just as it was already the case with “Terminator: Resistance”, Teyon’s developers, according to their own statements, are also concerned with “RoboCop: Rogue City” about respecting the film template accordingly and capturing its atmosphere.
