The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 comes to refine the recipe of its predecessor and corrects some flaws. Lighter than the Z Fold 3 (263 g instead of 271 g), Samsung makes it easier to handle its folding. If it is very useful for greedy games, it is also for the new addition of the folding smartphone, namely a task bar used to get closer to an experience like on a mini PC. Everything runs under the latest version of One UI, adapted for this tablet format, which is also pleasant to use with the integrated S Pen stylus. Equipped with a 4400 mAh battery, Samsung’s folding phone is able to last a little over a day. On the other hand, there is still no fast charging on the smartphone, which remains limited to 25 W.
Finally, Samsung is beefing up its game on the photo part, by providing a 50 megapixel main sensor, against 12 megapixels on the Z Fold 3. The module is accompanied by optical stabilization as well as dual pixel autofocus. The other optics retain their characteristics: 12 megapixels on the ultra wide-angle and 10 megapixels on the X3 telephoto lens. You will understand, with such a composition, the result is largely up to an S22.
