Since the release of Halo Infinite, players have been asking 343 Industries to make the progression system more visible in the game. With season 4 starting June 20th, it’s finally happening. The developers have presented a full-fledged ranking system for the shooter.
The ranking system in Halo Infinite will allow you to rank from cadet to general at levels ranging from bronze to onyx. To earn a rank, you need to play multiplayer matches, while in any modes – there are no requirements in this regard. There are 3 rank levels in total:
From bronze to onyx. This is a high level. From a cadet to a general. This is an intermediate level. From grade 1 to grade 3. This is a low level.
When a player advances to a new rank (for example, from cadet to major at the silver level), he receives 1 class. He needs to go to level 3, after which he will move on to level 1 of the next rank.
For example: If a player is at the Platinum level, is a General, and has a Class 1, then he needs to complete the stages: Platinum, General, Class 2 and Platinum, General, Class 3 to advance to the level ” Diamond, Cadet, Class 1.
Ranks will be displayed next to player profile information almost everywhere. You can see the rank of any player. Matches played before June 20 (the release of Season 4 of Halo Infinite) will not affect the rank in any way – everyone will start the path to the “Hero” from scratch. The rank will not be reset when the seasons change.
