Paradox Interactive was present with several new titles at the Summer Games Fest 2023, in particular with the presentation Of Star Trek: Infinite, Stellaris Nexus e Space Trash Scavenger.
The first appeared particularly interesting: developed by Nimble Giant Entertainment under license from Paramount, Star Trek: Infinite was presented as a game of “grand strategyobviously set in the famous sci-fi universe of the series.
Players are called upon to manage an entire fleet, choosing one of four historical factions: United Federation of Planets, Romulan Star Empire, Cardassian Union or Klingon Empire.
Each faction brings its own characteristics into the game, with particular traits, strengths and weaknesses, stories, quests and more. It is therefore a question of managing the fleet and overcoming various problems and challenges posed by the exploration of the universe. The release is scheduled for this fall.
Stellaris Nexus is a strategic one 4X set in the world of Stellaris, which will also have a playable demo starting June 19, 2023 and will then launch in early access by the end of 2023. After the period of domination by the Tzynn Empire, the power of the Nexus has remained empty, in waiting for a new leader.
Players must then try to expand their influence by changing the balance of power in the universe, until they reach the place of greatest importance within this, through different paths. It is possible to follow the path of war or diplomacy, politics or economics, within the typical structure of the 4X.
Finally, Space Trash Scavenger is a survival con elementi builder focused on construction. We find ourselves working for Scav-X, the largest waste management company in the galaxy, and we have to explore asteroid fields and various other areas in search of waste and any useful resources to build structures with which to explore space .
