Publisher Firestoke Games and developer Moonloop Games have announced that they have teamed up to bring their awesome independent adventure Hauntii to PC and consoles in 2024. The announcement was made yesterday at the Day of the Devs showcase with a new trailer.
Hauntii is a fun adventure built around a creative haunting mechanic that allows you to own the environment and the creatures that inhabit it. Once in control, you’ll be able to take on your enemies using the special abilities of the Haunty’s inhabitants and come up with ingenious solutions to overcome the many challenges scattered across the enchanting world of Haunty.
You’ll be obsessed with an exciting combination of exploration, puzzle-solving and dual-stick shooting, all in a stunning hand-crafted world filled with adorable characters and backed by a ghostly mystery that will take you deep into your past.
The flamboyant style of Hauntii combined with the enchanting soundtrack created by LightReturn creates a wonderful aesthetic experience that combines coziness, mystery and melancholy. The world of Hauntii is a relaxing and wonderful place where you can easily switch between addictive puzzles, minimalistic storytelling, action and discovery.
Hauntii takes place in Eternity, a place that exists outside of space, where all souls eventually end up. No ghost can truly die in Eternity, but all can be led astray into hellish versions of themselves. A mysterious race of luminous beings known as the Eternians guide lost souls to the sinister central tower, where they seem to ascend to a higher plane.
