06/09/2023 at 10:15 a.m. by Thilo Bayer – As Blizzard confirms, there were two hotfixes with bug fixes for Diablo 4 yesterday. However, “bigger problems” will be addressed in future updates.
After three days of silence at Diablo 4, on June 8th two hotfixes for the action role-playing game. In addition, there were massive queues for a short time.
Stability and bug fixes in focus
The two patches with the version numbers 1.0.2g (build 42200 only for PC) and 1.0.2h (build 42245 for all platforms) also ensured that an annoying error when checking out the game should finally be fixed. Otherwise, the Global Community Development Director provided Adam Fletcher clear on twitterthat it was “just additional stability and bug fixes”. Some larger and more common bugs are still a work in progress and will appear in future updates, Fletcher said.
In the early hours of the morning there were other problems with Diablo 4 (buy now €77.89). Various players noted on Twitter that the game servers would behave unstable, which Blizzard also called into action. So there was an unplanned maintenance window for which Blizzard apologized on Twitter. Screenshots from D4 players showed queues exceeding 1,000 minutes in places. It later said, “We’ve reduced log-in rates to ease the pressure on the servers. During the work, players will see longer log-in queues.” As a result, players showed screenshots with waiting times of more than 1,500 hours.

Finally, the official side gave the all-clear: “The log-in problems have been fixed. Thank you for your patience and sorry for the inconvenience”. This sometimes led to sarcastic comments on the player side. Blizzard should rather invest money in its servers than in the D4 advertising with Megan Fox. After the log-in status reports, Blizzard already published various “winning videos” with the well-known actress on Twitter.
