During the Summer Game Fest, Quantic Dream announced Also Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warriorand action game a fantastic setting with oriental atmospheres, centered on a particular mechanic that involves the manipulation of time and the clones of the protagonist.
The game, developed by Sand Door Studio, stages a particular story in a setting that is somewhat reminiscent of ancient Middle Eastern scenarios, however introducing awesome features and mythological.
“After half a millennium of peace, a new danger hangs over Antala. Her fate depends on you, Imë, Lysfanga of the New Kingdom, protector of the realm. The ancient cities, hitherto frozen in time, are free again and an old demon is managed to escape, thus threatening the peace”, this is the narrative incipit of Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior.
However, the heroine will not be alone in her battle: she will be supported by herself. Thanks to the temporal powers conferred by the Goddess of Time, which no other Lysfanga has ever had before, the protagonist can rewind time during fights and summon clones from the past to help you.
Through this particular power, Imë will be able to face the hordes of fleeing demons, known as Raxes, who threaten the kingdom. This obviously also introduces a mechanic that characterizes all gameplay, focused on time rewinds and theuse of clones to fight, in addition to the presence of puzzles to be solved with various systems.
Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior does not yet have a precise release date but its arrival is expected in the second half of 2023 on PC, pending further information. During the Summer Game Fest, from Quantic Dream we also saw the presentation of Under the Waves.
