Premium smartphone with “thin” frames goes on sale
Quite a lot of time has passed, and many could already forget that at the spring presentation Meizu showed three smartphones at once, two of which went on sale almost immediately, and the third – Meizu 20 Infinity was shown only in the photo and exhibition stands. It was the top model of the line, where premium body materials and a frameless design (only on renders) became the main feature.
It uses steel frames and Meizu’s own Titan Titan glass, which, according to the company’s tests, is significantly more resistant to scratches and falls than Gorilla glass. More details about its characteristics can be found in our article with the announcement at this link.
Most likely, there were certain problems with production and Meizu 20 Infinity smartphones will go on free sale only now, 2 months after the announcement. To be precise, it will happen on June 12 at prices starting at $885.
The younger brothers in the line are in great demand in China due to the good price-to-performance ratio, but how buyers will perceive the premium smartphone from the brand is still a mystery.
