A demo version of the dark RPG Lies of P was recently released, and the author YouTube– channel ElAnalistaDeBits already managed to release a technical comparison of new items on consoles PlayStation.
On PS4 the game runs at 1080p and 40 FPS, on PS4 Pro the quality rises to 1140p at 50 FPS. At PS5 There are two modes – with an emphasis on graphics and performance. In the first case, we are talking about 2160p and 30 FPS, and in the second – 2160p and 60 FPS. Also, in graphics mode with HFR (120Hz) Lies of P runs at 2160p and 40 FPS.
Graphics mode on PS5 performs better in various visual elements like lighting, shadows, and draw distance, as expected, and load times on PS5 are twice as fast.
The PS4 and PS4 Pro have lower settings in general, but the textures and details in the levels are especially noticeable. In addition, there are frame rate issues on these platforms – the PS5 is pretty stable with FPS.
A new gameplay rethinking of the history of Pinocchio has also appeared on the network, where the main character explores the streets of the city and fights a huge boss.
Lies of P is scheduled for release on September 19 for PlayStation, Xbox Series and PC.
