“Remnant 2” will soon be unleashed on the players. The date has been set and a new co-op trailer can also be started.
After there was only rough talk of a release in the summer, “Remnant 2” has been given a release date. The launch will therefore take place on July 25, 2023 for PS5, as the developer Gunfire Games and the publisher Gearbox Publishing announced during the opening presentation of the Summer Game Fest.
The title takes players back into intense third-person shooter action, this time against even more terrifying and deadly bosses. As players move through dynamically generated environments, they will encounter hordes of brutal enemies. The ultimate goal is to survive the onslaught while unraveling the mysteries behind the relentless invasion.
Character development system and plenty of weapons
The sequel also features an arsenal of different weapons, each with their own playstyle and special powers. Mastering the art of weaponry and adapting equipment to the various encounters is the key to overcoming the difficult opponents, they say.
Remnant 2 also features a character development system that gives players the freedom to customize their skills and playstyle. There are a number of archetypes to choose from, each with unique abilities and perks.
A key part of the title is the collaborative experience. It is intended to encourage players to team up and take on the onslaught together. “Whether you prefer to play with a group of friends or team up with other survivors online, the game seamlessly integrates cooperative play into its core mechanics,” the creators said.
“Remnant 2” adapts the level of difficulty of the opponents and the spawn rates to the number of players, which should lead to a challenging but fair cooperative experience.
Remnant 2 available for pre-order in three editions
Pre-orders are already possible. “Remnant 2” is offered in three editions:
