After the shift in April 2023 Throne and Liberty will be released in October 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. It is also clear that Amazon Games will act as a publisher for the western market and will rely on a Free2Play payment model. At the Summer Game Fest on June 8, 2023, Amazon Games and NCSoft released the first joint trailer for the MMORPG.
Technical test – how to register
The trailer not only gave a glimpse of various core features of Throne and Liberty (buy now), those responsible also announced a technical test. The game’s official website states:
“Our teams at Amazon Games and NCSOFT are already excited to invite players into the world of Solisium. Together we are preparing a technical test for all regions supported by Amazon Games on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S , which can be attended by invitation.”

If you want to register for the technical test, Registration can be found via this link. There you have to log in with an Amazon account and select a platform for the test. If you are now wondering whether you will also need an Amazon account for the launch version, here is the relevant information from the official FAQ:
“No, you do not need an Amazon account to play THRONE AND LIBERTY, but you do need a Steam, PlayStation or Xbox account. However, you will need an Amazon account to sign up for the THRONE AND LIBERTY technical test. ” Amazon Games also says you won’t need an Xbox Live Gold or PlayStation Plus membership to play Throne and Liberty on consoles.

Incidentally, the official announcement also contains details about the content of the test: “In the vast world of Solisium, you and others will go in search of fragments of the Star of Sylaveth in order to gain their full power. Because only with this power will You may be able to defeat Kazar, the spirit of submission. You and your loyal guild can make strategic decisions about how to triumph over Kazar’s armies and rival guilds. The choice is yours as you delve into immersive gameplay dive and fight for the throne.
During the technical test, players can get their first glimpse of THRONE AND LIBERTY and experience a world of depth and breadth – from expansive fields to vast skies and vast mountain ranges. Fight gigantic bosses, take part in field events, plunge into huge dungeons, fight for territory and loot in epic guild battles, participate in sieges and much more. Players can experience the world of Solisium, provide feedback, and help our teams test the network infrastructure. More information will be available soon after we announce the start date for the technical test.”
