The 28-year-old defender of Dynamo Kyiv and the Polish national team, Tomasz Kedziera, who spent the second part of the season on loan at the Greek PAOK, spoke about football in Ukraine during the war.
“We played without fans. If there was a threat of rocket attacks, the match was interrupted. There were special rooms in the stadiums where we waited for the signal to continue playing.
Mentally, it was one of the most difficult seasons for me. It is difficult to train when the country is at war. I decided that I need to change the environment in order to concentrate on football,” Kendzera said.
