The delay in the release of Lies of P was necessary to provide the best possible experience.
The release date for Lies of P was announced at the Summer Game Fest. The soulslike game will be released on September 19th for Xbox consoles, including Xbox Game Pass. A demo is already playable.
Developer and publisher NEOWIZ actually planned to publish Lies of P in August. But in order to be able to offer the best possible gaming experience, they added a few weeks to the backlog.
Commenting on the postponement, NEOWZOZ said: “Some of you may have noticed that the official release date of September 19th is slightly later than the original August release window that we previously announced. The team felt they needed a few more weeks to put the finishing touches on the game and provide the best possible experience at launch.”
