Yesterday was the presentation of Summer Game Fest. However, as you probably know and maybe even belong to this group, most viewers were hoping that the presentation of the Phantom Liberty add-on for Cyberpunk 2077 would be the grand finale. However, this did not happen, to which most of the community reacted with surprise.
It should be noted, however, that this is most likely related to the term “Summer Game Fest”, which is the name of the entire event, which includes, among other things, Play Days, an opportunity to test a range of games prepared by developers and intended for people on site in Los Angeles.
CD Projekt RED announced that DLC for Cyberpunk 2077 will appear at the Summer Game Fest, but most likely it was only Play Days. However, even considering this situation, being absent from such a major show is surprising.
As yesterday’s event drew to a close, Jeff Keely said that the finale will be a new look at a huge world that we can’t wait to explore again – in general, it should be about Cyberpunk. Many, of course, would argue here, but still we can assume that it was about CD Projekt RED. It was only then that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth hit the big screen. But apparently, most were waiting for the Phantom Liberty.
