Take on a gang of bloodthirsty ghosts with nothing but a possessed camera and nerves of steel.
The award-winning game Madison VR is bringing its signature suspenseful horror to PC and PS VR2 VR, as announced at the Future Games Show Summer Showcase Powered by Intel.
This first-person psychological horror game has already received “very positive” ratings in all reviews on Steam, and a scientific study found that the heart rate increases dramatically while playing it. As a result, it was voted “the scariest horror game of all time”. So obviously the only way to make it even scarier is to put you literally inside the horror with VR.
The game’s plot is simple, without the admixture of fuel for nightmares: you wake up in a dark room covered in blood. Playing as a character named Luka, you must try to defeat a demonic, bloodthirsty ghost named Madison, who is trying to force you to continue a terrible, bloody ritual that has been repeated for decades.
As you explore, solve puzzles and learn more about what happened, you will have to deal not only with Madison, but also with a whole range of other characters and entities that you will encounter, learn more about them and escape. – each of them has its own backstory, intertwined with the history of Madison.
To deal with this host of ghosts, all you have is your puzzle-solving skills and a possessed camera with which you can manipulate the world around you. By using it to shoot, you can discover information and change things around you to move further into the hell you’re in.
