The developers of the military shooter Hell Let Loose released a trailer dedicated to the upcoming update Devotion to Duty. And he led to the fact that the user rating of the game in Steam changed from very positive to mixed.
Players have been noticing for some time that developers are gradually changing the game towards casual, trying to attract a wide audience. At the same time, the upcoming add-ons and updates are full of bugs, up to global ones: the whole faction of Britain came out unplayable.
When carefully viewing the new trailer, it becomes clear that the claims of the players are not unfounded. Even to demonstrate the upcoming innovations, the developers failed to shoot a convincing trailer. Instead, we see a soldier frozen in the classic A-pose, a fighter running to attack without weapons, someone’s flying hands and clips, as well as guns firing without the participation of gunners.
On the official DiscordOn the Hell Let Loose channel, the developers assured that they understand the feelings of the players, but bombing will not change anything. However, the studio promises to figure out how such a trailer could be released.
Devotion to Duty is coming to the game on July 18th and will add an Objective mode in which teams of 25 will battle it out for Brecourt Manor.
Recall that the original creators of the game, the studio Black Matter, are currently mostly working on a brand new project unrelated to Hell Let Loose. And to support and develop the shooter, the publisher of the game, Team17created a studio Cover 6.
