Real Madrid striker Vinicius Junior, who recently again became the victim of a racist attack from fans, has chaired a new FIFA committee to combat racism.
The committee will mainly include football players who will propose tougher measures to combat racism. FIFA President Gianni Infantino is sure that when racism is manifested, matches should be stopped.
“There should be no more racism in football. Matches must be stopped. Enough. I have asked Vinicius to lead a group of players who will come up with tougher penalties for racism.”
“We need to hear the players,” Infantino is convinced.
