Chris Hemsworth talks about the future of his career, and about the possibility of continuing to put himself in the shoes of Thor in the new films of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Throughout his career, we have seen Chris Hemsworth play many characters, but there is one that always comes to mind when we think of him: Thor, the god of thunder from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Chris Hemsworth has put himself in the shoes of Thor on 8 occasions, for the Thor movies in: Thor (2011), The dark world (2013), Thor: Ragnarok (2017) y Thor: Love and Thunder (2022).
As well as for the UCM tapes in which his character appears: Avengers: The Avengers (2012), the age of ultron (2015), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), and Avengers: Endgame (2019).
More than ten years after first working on the Marvel Cinematic Universehe Australian actor he begins to consider the moment in which he will stop embodying his most famous character, and his final decision will depend on the hearing.
Chris Hemsworth will continue to be Thor as long as the public wants to see him on screen
“I don’t want to keep doing it until people are so exhausted that they roll their eyes when they see me come on screen as that character,” he explained. Chris Hemsworth during a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly.
“If the public wants to see it, and if there is something that we think will be exciting and fun, then great. I’ve loved being able to reinvent that character a few times,” added the interpreter. “I still don’t have the answerbut i would love to try [averiguar] how can we do it again and keep it a little unpredictable.”
We do not know when or at what point Chris Hemsworth will stop being Thor, although for now we are clear that he will return to the UCM con Avengers: Secret Wars in 2027, and currently just released the film Tyler Rake 2 on Netflix, also arousing interest in his return with a future third installment of the saga.
