The authors of Frostpunk 2, the trailer of which was shown at PC Gaming Show 2023, published image with some details about the future game. It became known that:
All key mechanics are already done and fully functional; Developers have a high priority for testing outside the studio; The first press screenings will be at gamescom and on a US tour in September; A global gameplay demo will take place in early autumn; The game will release in the first half of 2024.
The continuation of the city-building simulator about the harsh survival in the ice will tell about the need for mankind in oil production. But before a happy future, people will face new threats.
For now 11 bit studios announced a release for PC only. According to the Steam page, the game will have a full text translation into Russian.
