MSI has officially unveiled its own versions of the RTX 4060 line of graphics cards – the new ones will be available from June 29 at a price of $299 and will compete with the best available solutions on the market in the near future, especially AMD’s RX 7600 graphics card.
The company noted that the GeForce RTX 4060 Gaming 8G and GeForce RTX 4060 Ventus 2X Black 8G video cards, as well as their overclocked options from the factory, received a rather stylish and strict design with black plastic and a complete lack of RGB backlighting. Both models have a standard two-slot design, which will probably appeal to those who want a graphics card in a compact package.
The company also said that the RTX 4060 Gaming 8G model uses MSI’s Twin Frozr 9 cooling system, which includes a nickel-plated copper plate for heat dissipation and two branded Torx 5.0 fans.
The manufacturer notes that this design differs from the competition with slightly angled fan blades of 22 degrees, which MSI claims increases airflow by 23% compared to standard fans.
At the same time, the RTX 4060 Ventus 2X Black 8G graphics card model received a simpler, but still effective Torx 4.0 fan design. It is also worth noting that these video cards have the same GPU frequency and they will not receive any overclocking from the factory.
This is a really important point because users will look at the performance of graphics cards before buying.
