The Season 4 update for Halo Infinite has arrived, adding Infection mode, a new progression system, improvements to the Forge, a new 100-level Battle Pass, several new maps, and more. There is also an important technical improvement of the game on the Xbox Series X consoles in Season 4 | S.
On Xbox Series X | S Players can now enable ray-traced sun shadows in the video settings. To do this, you need to activate the corresponding option, it is not enabled by default. When this feature is enabled, all shadows cast by the sun will be more detailed in multiplayer. This option is not available for the Halo Infinite story campaign.
343 Industries is warning players that, in some situations, enabling the new setting may cause the frame rate to drop below the selected target value.
