As promised by the developers, saves from the Final Fantasy 16 demo can be used in the full game. However, this feature only applies to the first section of the demo.
The demo of Final Fantasy 16, in fact, is divided into two segments: the first covers the first acts related to game prologuethe second allows you to experience the combat system more deeply in a mode specially created as a proving ground.
How to import Final Fantasy 16 demo saves
If we have played and completed the prologue in the demo of Final Fantasy 16, we will be able to import the saves with the current data and restart exactly where did we leave offretconning the plot events from the last scene where the trial ended. This procedure, of course, can be done only with the full game, while the save file for the completed demo cannot be loaded into the demo itself. If we wanted to replay the demo, we’d have to start over once New matchby selecting the option of the same name from the menu on the title screen.
Attention, however: as mentioned at the beginning, non we will be able to import the progress related to the Eikon Challenge Mode, the special portion set later than the prologue and reworked solely to give players the opportunity to test some skills and some typical dynamics of the new full action battle system.
That said, the full version of Final Fantasy 16 automatically recognizes the save file carried out at the end of the demo, like many other games.By detecting this when starting the game, the demo save file is imported by itself and can be reloaded by selecting “Continues” o “Load game“, although nothing prevents you from starting a new game.
