HoYoverse has unveiled the next major 3.8 update for Genshin Impact dubbed “Summer! Amusement park? Mirage!”. It will be released on July 5, 2023 and will bring with it the new Mirage Velurium region.
Mirage Veluriyam includes many interesting places, including high hills, wooded valleys and dark caves. During exploration, players will have to collect Celebration Vouchers to redeem for rewards, including Keii’s new costume. You can also ride American races throughout the area and teleport to a 2D world with hidden puzzles and treasures.
Four summer events are also expected in the new area:
Turbulent Battle – Water Cannon Shooting; Vibrant Thought Dance – Various Combat Challenges; Roaring Fox’s Travel Notes – Air Race with a Little Roaring Fox; Chirping Balls – Shuffleboard equivalent.
In addition, the Sacred Summoning of the Seven card game will be updated with new cards Kandakia, Yan Fei and Kaedehara Kazuha, as well as a new PvE mode, In the Forge Flames: Endless Swarm, where players will have to fight opponents for a set number of rounds.
