At the last GDC 2023, Epic Games presented a technological demo of the Unreal Engine 5.2 engine, in which everything is built around demonstrating a thoroughly designed jungle. So, now this demo (environment and filling the scene) can be freely downloaded.
The Electric Dreams Environment Sample Project will allow anyone to explore the jungle from demos created using just a few Quixel assets. The demo includes the procedural content generation framework itself, as well as a new material creation system called Substate.
For those who understand, we also mention that the demo includes seven levels for a more detailed study and understanding of the PCG tools. Also included are other UE5 features including Lumen, Nanite and Soundscape.
