Italian AC Milan are interested in the services of 20-year-old Rukh midfielder Mark Sapugi.
The Ukrainian midfielder impressed the Rossoneri scouts in the UEFA Youth League matches against Inter and Milan.
The Italian club planned to make an offer to Rukh in the amount of 1 million euros and a certain percentage of bonuses from future resales.
Sapugu was planned to be rented out for a season to adapt to Italian football. Over time, he could claim to be a replacement in the first team for a player of a similar style, Rada Krunic.
The offer never materialised, due to Sapuga missing almost the entire spring portion of the season due to injury. Milan will continue to actively follow the development of Mark’s career.
