The latest demo of Unreal Engine 5 by Epic Games is available for download, Epic Games is letting every PC take a tour of the amazingly detailed environment they showed off just recently.

During the Game Developers Conference held in March this year, the company showed off its new engine demo for Unreal Engine 5.2; today that can be downloaded.

If we go into a few more details, this Electric Dreams Environment Sample Project allows each user to explore the jungle environment seen during the demo.
This was built using a few Quixel materials and a procedural content generation framework, as well as a new material creation system called Substrate.
The demo includes 7 levels with which the aforementioned tools are explored and better understood. In addition, this sample project includes other UE5 features like Lumen, Nanite and Soundscape.

Epic Games advises that “The procedural content generation framework and Substrate are currently experimental features” and we should be careful when using them.
