This week, the Epic Games Store is once again offering its registered users a free game. After making Idle Champion of the Forgotten Realms and theHunter: Call of the Wild available to players for free over the last week, the challenging tactical role-playing game with the unpronounceable name The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk – The Amulet of Chaos is now available since June 29, 2023 Available for free on the Epic Store.
What is The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk about?
In Artefacts Studio’s charming The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk, the player takes control of a team of unlikely heroes who are “clumsy, inexperienced and spirited”. It’s just unfortunate that they have to get along, because the dungeon’s treasure isn’t found that easily. The title is based on the extraordinary Naheulbeuk universe (parody of the writers Hohlbein or Houellebecq?) by French author John Lang. He began publishing an RPG and fantasy hero parody audio comedy series.

In The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk, there are seven classic role-playing characters to choose from – from the elf to the thief, various archetypes are on board. The turn-based battles take place in cute cartoon graphics from the classic top view. The abilities of the characters then want to be skillfully reconciled with one another. In addition to other classic RPG elements such as traps, deadly puzzles and valuable treasures, absurd encounters and wonderfully bizarre dialogues await in the gigantic dungeon (with goblin ice skating park, lively tavern and luxury quarters for the evil overlord).

The free offer ends next week on July 6, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. From then on, Grime will be the next free game for users of the store. Grime is a fast-paced action-adventure RPG in which enemies are hunted down with living and mutating weapons.
