Former Arsenal and England player Ray Parlor praised the first season of Oleksandr Zinchenko as part of the Gunners.
“I must admit I was amazed when Arsenal acquired Zinchenko from Manchester City last summer. I could not believe that the team managed to get a player of such qualifications and with such experience.
And last season Zinchenko was just great! I think next season he will be a landmark in Arsenal’s game.
Zinchenko is very mobile in a tactical sense: nominally he plays left-back, but he constantly shifts to the center of midfield, and if necessary, he can be used when playing with three defenders. Without such a performer, Arsenal’s game would not have changed as rapidly as we saw last season,” Parlor told talkSPORT.
Last season, Zinchenko played 33 matches for Arsenal in all competitions, scoring 1 goal and making 2 assists.
