Diablo 4’s pre-season update not only fixed a myriad of bugs, but also introduced new content, including six unique pieces of equipment. Let’s find out how to unlock them and what their special powers are.
Ahvarion, Spear of Lycander
This staff is one of the items that are defined as ‘Ultra Unique’, as their drop rate is incredibly low compared to other pieces of equipment belonging to the same category. The appearance of this spear, which is not tied to any specific class, is very peculiar: after eliminating an Elite enemy, it activates a random Shrine effect for 10-20 seconds. Once the effect is over, you have to wait 30 seconds to be able to use this special power again.
IrAzure (Unique Sword – Class: Barbarian)
Easier to find around the Sanctuary is Irazzurra, a blade made specifically for the Barbarian. The unique aspect of the weapon in question is related to the Lucky Shot: in this case, Primary skills have a maximum of 20% chance of freezing the target for 3 seconds and inflicting an amount of cold damage depending on the roll of the piece (from a minimum of 0.75 to a maximum of 1, 5).
Fleshrender (Unique One-Handed Mace – Class: Druid)
This mace’s name alone for the Druid gives an idea of how capable it is of causing suffering to its targets. The power of this unique item consists in upgrade the Debilitating Roar and Bloody Howl skillswhich deal 0.5 to 1 (as always depends on the roll) damage to poisoned enemies that are nearby.
Vigilant Barrier (Single Shield – Class: Necromancer)
An object for the Necromancer certainly could not be missing, who thanks to the latest free update can get his hands on the Watchful Barrier, a shield that bases its strength on the Lucky Shot. Appearance is closely related to skill Bone Stormbecause when it is activated and hits an enemy, there is the 5-25% chance to spawn another storm, thus duplicating the effects of the ability. For each sacrifice bonus (which is obtained by removing the summons of warriors, mages and golems) a 25% probability increase is obtained: this means that this increase can be obtained up to three times.
Eagle Horn (Single Bow – Class: Cutthroat)
To make all users of the Cutthroat happy with a build based on ranged weapons we think the Eagle Horn, a bow with a really useful aspect when facing a group of enemies in a restricted scenario. Due to the weapon’s appearance, Piercing Shot has a 30-80% chance (based on the roll) to fire a arrow bouncing off the walls. If the bullets hit the target from behind, they become vulnerable for 3 seconds.
The Oculus (Unique Wand – Class: Spellcaster)
To close the circle we think a wand for the Enchanter, or The Oculus. This special weapon has an aspect related to the ability to Teleportation. In addition to activating the effect of this movement skill for free, a variant of it is activated: by dodging with Teleportation, a random position is reached.
It should be noted that each of these Unique objects can be unlocked only and exclusively by playing on the highest difficulty, i.e. the World Level 4. However, there are no particular restrictions on the type of character to be used to obtain the drops, which are therefore available both in the Eternal Realm and in the Seasonal Realm.
